Chapter 2: Playing for salad.

Today my friends, our beloved Ana graduated from school.  She has been though a strange ordeal, but through out at all she survived.  At the end her class mates awarded her with the most likely to save the world.   That had brought a tear to Ana's eye.



Later that afternoon Ana picked up the paper, she needed a job to help pay rent.  She doubted Zander would let her live rent free forever.  Although he didn't seem to mind her company, she wanted to help pay for the cost of some bedrooms.  Can't sleep in bunks forever.  In the end, she took in her paper work and started as a fan in the Career track.



She then buy's her very own guitar, since she left the keyboard to her sister. Time to tune this baby up.



Zander decided he would go find seeds for his garden, he wondering around till the darkness started to take over the sky. In the end he had enough 10 seeds, and agreed with himself this would be enough to start a hansom garden.



After he decided he needed to do some reading, so he knew how to grow an efficient garden. . . . .



. . . . and went home to read. While Ana practiced playing. Zander thought it was rather lovely listening to her soft notes while he read.



It was starting to get late, so the two had dinner of Mac and Cheese. Ana knows that Zander is not much of a clean person, and she could not wake up to dirty dishes in the morning.



She though it was best to get a good night sleep. So she was bright eyed for tomorrow.



And. . . . this is what a grown man looks like when he climbs bunks haha.

Living off left overs..... mmmmmmm salad. "But on my first day of work I MUST eat a decent meal." Ana thinks to herself.



Zander is not up to calm her first day jitters. So she hastily makes the bed and cleans all the dirty clothes off the floor.



Just as Ana is finishing up the washing Zander enters the land of the living. And attacks a plate of salad.
Ana: "Trust you to get up just after I finish all the house work."
Zander: "What? I was tired  I spent all night learning about fertilizer."
Ana:  *giggles* "Sure sure, I know your secrets plans to become a international model spy."

Yes cooking...... Oh wait

Yes this is better.



BaBooom.

Turns out half her family is now working in the music career. Her dad is her boss, but her he has explained to both the girls that no one gets any favors and they will only get promotions via merit. Ana agrees to this, it would not be fair to other people, especially if they are better then her.



Tegan and Jade aged up to teenagers.



So Ana decided to go visit her family after work. Jade was out, so she had some time with Tegan.
Ana: "Sorry I didn't call, I thought I would just come and surprise you."
Tegan: "It's ok sis, but I hope you didn't expect any cake.  We decided to do our own thing for our birthdays.  Jade decided that she would go to the cafe with her toffee nosed friends."
Ana:  "Lucky I come to celebrate with my favorite sister in the world then."
Ana then gave Tegan the biggest hug ever.  She missed the chaos of this house some times.



The stare of doom.



Dad started playing the drums for old times sake, and because Tegan asked him too.  She has always loved dads music.   But then again I think we all have.  Life feels empty with out someone playing something.
Ana: "MUM!  How are you!"
Jordan: "Hey baby, how are you and that handsome lad?"
Ana:  "Really mother, we are friends.  I don't know how many times I have to tell you this."
Rue: "Yeah she would be worried she would get boy cooties on her."
Jordan: "Ana, that is enough."



Rue then walked away to her bedroom.
Rue: "How are we going to get through all this squirt?"



The next day Ana had free, the family went to a park for a jam session.  Featuring Vance and Ana.  They all stayed long enough to see the sun set.



Ana: "Hey dad, what do you think.  Should we start a band?  I have lots of ideas and written a few songs, I was thinking we can go along with Jazz type music.  I noticed lots of people getting into that kind of thing lately.."



Vance: "Sure thing babe cakes, We should catch up on our next free day and jam some more, ok?"
Ana: "Ok, sounds good Dad.  I will catch you then.  Bye."
Ana then kissed her dad and said good bye to the rest of the family.



Mmmmmm the smell of fresh clean washing.



Zander: "So how was your day?"

BING BONG


Ana: "Ummmm, who could possibly be at the door?"




Ana then proceeds to answer the door.

Tegan: "Sorry I turned up so late sis, but I was wondering what you though about the Art programme at school.  It's been doing my head in thinking if it would be worth while."



Ana: "Well, I liked the class myself.  But in the end, music was the clear winner of my life.  So I guess you just need to decide what you want to do once you leave school.  Painting was fabulous though, good for the soul"



Tegan: "Well, I was thinking of being an architect.  So art would defiantly get me a head start in that department."

Ana:  "Right, I am glad you got that sorted Tegs, but its 11pm and Mum and Dad will be worried.  How about I drop you off home?"

Tegan: *sigh* "Alright."



Once Ana had sorted her sister and had a chat with her parents, she was about to hit the sack when Zander come out  . . . . . in his underwear.



Zander: "You know, I think in a few weeks, after I finally get some produce.  We will be able to get some bedrooms built.  I might forget about getting a job and focus on the building and the garden."

Ana:  "Sounds like a plan, so I am paying the bills for the next few weeks then?"

Zander:  "Smart cow."

Ana: *Giggles*



Zander: "I also was thinking, That if you played the guitar, it would help the plants grown."

Ana: "Hahaha, what ever makes out happy Zee."

Zander:  "Well it is the same concept as playing for babies isn't it.  They are only baby seeds."

Ana:  "Ok, in the morning.  I need some sleep.  Night night."

Zander: "Good night precious."

Ana: *sideways glances at Zander while she walks to the bathroom for bed*







But she did indeed play for the plants, while Zander did the garden.  Zander thought it was the most beautiful thing in the world.



Time to Robot dance to work now.

Zander:  "Don't forget your jacket Ana, I washed it for you yesterday."

Ana does not think this jacket will be safe.
